Woher, wohin?
(Where From, Where To?)
2013
Kunstverein Wolfenbüttel
With bare feet I spread a thick trail of earth across the needle-felt floor of the location. It formed a large, archaic-looking circle of clay—with reference to Land Art—that connected the three exhibition rooms. In each room, a walking stick and a photograph were on display: the sticks came from my collection of sticks found by the wayside—used for walking and apparently left behind afterwards. The photos came from my postcard collection “People and Rocks” They depict people on, beside, and under massive stones and striking rock formations—seeming symbioses and odd constellations that challenge our relationship with nature.
